So awhile back just staying signed out and taking the few freebies they let you had was enough to let it live sitting there probably harvesting data or extrapolating or whatever word used to obfuscate how my usage gains them something. Then little annoyances grew and festered, like the suggestion popup starting to block more and more of the UI and causing real delays, less of this, more nag, more less, and less and less reasons to keep it around. Welp, one spellcheck and then you be a nagging me boy?! let me show you what ingrates gits when them britches gets too big and your booty ain't paying the rent no moe. Adios Grammar Nationalist Socialists let the purge of all things green begin! Whaaaagh!

It keeps asking me to login, after I login. It only works if I'm logged in. Never stays logged in.

When I open the browser, it asks me to log in. I log in. It then asks me to log in again. I log in. It asks me to log in. I restart browser. It asks me to log in. I log in. It asks me to log in again.

WHAT IS THE POINT? Log your addon until it works.

Works When It Wants.

The app is very temperamental and unreliable. I thoroughly enjoy it when it's does work and not repeatedly requesting me to sign in, yet still doesn't activate when I click to sign-on and then click "Continue to Grammerly." It worked for a while when I re-installed TWICE. I read the troubleshooting instructions, but now the sign-in prompt is not showing up in order for me to follow the troubleshooting prompts. UGH!!

The extension's "incorrect suggestion" button and some other controls stopped functioning a few months ago. This is pretty annoying. It seems like it works in a few isolated websites, like when I am writing this review. But not where it is most critically needed. Please fix this Firefox extension app. I am a premium Grammarly subscriber. My entire career and activities are in Firefox. Not all people are Chrome users. Some still appreciate and advocate competition and free world.

I am sure this app works great, but it is not what I want because it will not correct my spelling with out purchasing an upgrade.

The extension does not consistently run when using gmail. I check the extension, it is enabled but does not show it is running and the is no obvious way to turn it on.

Very buggy, instead of correcting the text it just adds randomly the corrected string.

It's ok overall - I use it through my university's account so I don't need to pay for it. That's the only reason I use it tbh. But, when I went to install the desktop version today, it opened Chrome to install there as if that was my default browser (which it is not!). In addition to that, the little bubble that pops up in Firefox can be incredibly annoying. In most cases, it either doesn't want to move out of the way of the text I'm typing so I can see what I'm typing, or it'll give me a suggestion that I'll click on and then it won't change anything! If I weren't getting the paid version through my school tuition, I would definitely not buy it or use the (very limited) free version.

Needs an option to whitelist sites to work on instead of just blacklist.

As a grammar checker it's really good. My biggest problem is how it collides with other UI aspects of the interface.

For text boxes that are expandable you grab the bottom right of the box and drag it to a bigger size.

Grammarly puts its interface in the same area but further in the text box. 80% of the time I can expand the text box fine, but there are times when Grammarly just grabs focus and there is no way for me to expand the text box.

I have sent this to them as a bug report months ago but heard nothing back. I have had this issue on both Windows and Linux installs of Firefox.

It was quite a good plugin until they start to label people based on their nationality, race, and color.

Not working at all in Google Docs. I configured all the settings and did all the personalizations as well, and it is still not working in Google Docs. Though it is working on other online text editors. But my primary usecase was for writing emails and making scientific papers on Google Docs, where this extension failed critically.

When using with Google Docs, the highlight in the text field shows less than half the times it's supposed to, while in Edit mode. When using the side bar to select corrections, if they are not highlighted the document scrolls down to random pages some times. And sometimes when going back to the document from the side bar, it had a yo-yo effect when trying to scroll at first.

There too much lag with this app while typing

I downgraded my rating as Grammarly has become excessively intrusive in its suggestions and recommendations, and has developed a bad habit of putting pop-up windows directly over what they want to improve. "Fail"!

Since the latest update, Grammarly's Firefox add-in keeps saying that it is not registered. Not earth-shattering but inconvenient.
