- Se valoró con 1 de 5por mnaonmf, hace un mesI don't know what happened to this extension. It used to be so easy and effective to use. After its redesigned, it's incomprehensible—no wonder you need a tutorial (even then, it's nonsensical now).
Edit (in response to developer):
Hello, and thank you for following up. The extension behaves quite differently from a couple of years ago. If I recall, you could hover or click on text and a persistent, midsize popup would appear—staying open and interactive so you could review details or take notes. Now, the popup is tiny and trails the cursor, which makes it harder to use. It also fails to appear outside private windows, likely due to conflicts with other extensions. In short, it feels over-designed—the kind of counterproductive complexity that’s become too common in tech. If you ever reintroduce an option for the earlier persistent-popup style, I think many of us would appreciate it. Thank you for your work and consideration.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace un mesHi! Could you please give us a little bit more details about what makes our extension's new version nonsensical? We didn't make any drastic change, so we're wondering what issue you encountered. Feel free to contact us from our website at https://fonts.ninja/about-us if you wish to give us more info! publicado el hace 6 añosHi! It's a bit slower than the old version indeed (should not be "very slow" though).
The extension needs a few milliseconds to analyze the font files. Basically, instead of just check the declared CSS name (which is often wrong), we develop an algorithm called Font DNA that analyzes fonts glyphs to give you a more accurate font identification (and also give you the font used in case of fonts fallback)- Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 14609601, hace 7 años
