- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19430074, 3 months agoIt asks for money otherwise you'll have a huge watermark on downloaded youtube videos, find another extension that does this for free.
- Rated 1 out of 5by BizBarley, 3 months agoI have no clue where the positive reviews come from. This extension requires additional software to function. I can't properly load it on any of my machines, and it's flagged as questionable in terms of safety. It's just a mess. I've downloaded and tried to use it several times over the past 5-6 years, to see if it's improved. It has not. Avoiding.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Sean Nava, 3 months agoDownloadhelper died when it started to ask for money (even if claims to be free). I used to be a DH user in 2014 to 2017 but now this addon turned into nothing but baloney: ask you to download a extra app to download, then burns a watermark into videos and wants you to give €20 to remove it. Developers just killed everything that made DH were good in the past

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19414654, 4 months agoI could not use this extension, it had asked me to download .exe to install in order to use it. Turns out it is a virus and trojan. Slowed down my computer and did a number on my anti virus to contained, quarantine and removed it!!

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18749384, 4 months agoWas a 5/5 addon before it required you to pay to download youtube videos

- Rated 1 out of 5by Nyrius, 4 months agoWas a good add-on. Is now paid software that burns an opaque watermark into your download and requires 20 Euros to remove. It tells you this after downloading the videos. yt-dlp exists BTW...
- Rated 1 out of 5by Brannock, 4 months agoIt's a paid program now, a watermark is integrated on YouTube video to sell a 20€ licence.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13404543, 4 months agoStill says "Your download is done" when what it means is "I downloaded part of your file and then gave up." Gave it a couple years of updates and thought trying again would prove more fruitful, but I was wrong. Still the same barely functional addon.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Giga, 4 months agoThis app poses as a free extension and suddenly starts asking for a license
- Rated 1 out of 5by Döhuset Records, 4 months agoAdds an watermark and wants a donation for it to be removed so its straight up trash. Save yourself some time and do NOT DL this garbage. Just check out the creator Paul's website:
