Many times this plug in would allow me to download 11 or 12 videos than stop working for a few hours. This app is helpful, but could be better.

Ich habe vor Kurzem eine Lizenz von Videodownloadhelper für Firefox gekauft, weil er sehr gut besonders mit Youtube-Videos arbeitet. Man kann sie runterladen und weiter verarbeiten. Aber nach ca. 70 geladenen Video Clips verweigert die Extension weitere Clips runter zu laden. Die Meldung lautet: Sie haben mehr als 100 Video Clips ruter geladen (was nicht der Tatsache entspricht...). Der Hersteller der Extension lässt sich nicht kontaktieren. Das finde ich nicht richtig, besonders, weil beim kauf der Lizenz stand nichts über eine Begrenzung der Downloads.

More and more often downloads simply break off and you have to restart several times until you can download a video in one go. This affects various sites.

Why is it do slow at downloading ? YT download manger is so much quicker.

Würde von mir 5 Sterne bekommen. Es gibt nur ein Problem. Nach dem Download verschiebt sich die TonSpur und Stimmt nicht mehr mit dem Video überein. Schade ansonsten Top. Leider ist dies ein sehr großer Fehler der beheben werden müsste.

Overall works fine, but Youtube has been putting into place methods to try to block extensions like VDH so I've had to resort to other methods for downloading Youtube videos most of the time. This is not necessarily a fault of VDH but it would be nice if they could address some of the issues, like the Multi-Language thing with Youtube. As a result, I have to give it 3 stars out of 5. That being said, I've gotten my money's worth out of the paid option over the past few years.

Works on many sites, but of course it doesn't work on the site which I wanted to download from (JustForFans) :-(

For many sites, this product works well. For some, it is unable to detect whether a video is playing or not. For others, Internet Download Manager has gotten around the encryption used by many sites, so the videos downloaded can not be replayed. Many people have asked for customer support to fix this bug, but this app does not respond to customer requests to fix bugs.

Some of the videos downloaded wont have audio and I'll have to download again selecting different properties for the video. I may have to try several times before I get something with both audio and video together.

The language selection method has changed since episode 9, and if you change the audio, the video will no longer be recognized and the app will become grayed out.
